WIPO and UA meet with stakeholders in Jamaica

The university of Alicante in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) is carrying out this week meetings with stakeholders in Jamaica, as part of an analysis and evaluation of the innovation system and IPR.

Some of the stakeholders are the Jamaica Intellectual Property Organization (JIPO), University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech), Bio-Tech R&D Institute, Scientific Research Council (SRC), Caribbean Maritime Institute, Bureau of Standards (BSJ), Ministry of Industry, Investment & Commerce (MIIC), Jamaica Business Development Corporation (JBDC), University of the West Indies, Mona (UWI), Northern Caribbean University (NCU) and Ministry Science Technology, Energy and Mining (MSTEM), among others.
